Project Intro

Daystar is an established and well-known American off-road aftermarket part manufacturer located in Phoenix, AZ. I was tasked with updating and redesigning the product catalog for this project. Updates are common annually as prices change or products come and go. However, redesigns are done about once every six years. 

I embraced Daystar's brand identity as much as possible and went with a grunge design with an organic layout. Grunge graphics are a big part of off-road culture and I gave more weight to the organic feel of the catalog design because this catalog was meant for B2C consumption. Essentially, consumers could find their vehicle name and model number online to see available products and have it be way easier than going through a product catalog. Therefore, I wanted to show off the love Daystar has for off-roading as well as impress potential customers with the graphics and design to get them interested in the company in the case they haven't heard of us.

*I designed about 85% of this catalog with the exception of the cover page and pages 11-12. I completed this under the wing of my marketing manager, Mike.
